Resolving the binary components of the outbursting protostar HBC 494 with ALMA

Episodic accretion is a low-mass pre-main sequence phenomenon characterized by sudden outbursts of enhanced accretion. These objects are classified into two: protostars with elevated levels that lasts for decades or more, called FUors, and shorter repetitive bursts, EXors. HBC 494 FUor object embedded in the Orion Molecular Cloud. Earlier Atacama Large (sub-)Millimeter Array (ALMA) continuum observations showed an asymmetry disk at 0.''2 resolution. Here, we present follow-up ~0.''03, resolving system two components: N (primary) S (secondary). No circumbinary was detected. Both disks resolved projected separation ~0.''18 (75 au). Their dimensions 84+/-1.8 x 66.9+/-1.5 mas 64.6+/-2.5 46.0+/-1.9 S. The almost aligned similar inclinations. show primary ~5 times brighter/more massive ~2 bigger than secondary. We notice northern component has mass to while southern individual sizes smaller single eruptive YSOs. In this work, also report 12CO, 13CO, C18O molecular line observations. At large scale, 12CO emission shows bipolar outflows, 13CO maps rotating infalling envelope around system. moment zero cavities within disks' area, which may indicate over-subtraction slow-moving jets chemical destruction along line-of-sight.
